The meeting is being run back to back with the IPFA Turkish Branch who will hold their briefing on 24th April to maximise networking opportunities. UK, Roads
UK Government plans for a second UK toll road, near the M4 in South Wales are under discussion but have been rebuked by the Welsh government as unworkable. The construction of a long-awaited M4 relief road along a stretch of motorway notorious for its bottlenecks will be part of a multi-billion pound road-building programme designed to stimulate the economy. It is set to be announced in this summer's Comprehensive Spending Review

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (“MSC”) has reached agreement with Global Infrastructure Partners and a group of its LP Co-Investors (“GIP”) to sell 35% of Terminal Investment Limited SA (“TIL”). Consideration is US$1.929 billion, including certain payments contingent on TIL’s future performance. Closing is expected to take place in the middle of the year and is subject to obtaining the relevant approvals.

Bilfinger Project Investments has reached financial close for its first privately-financed concession project in the US in a consortium with VINCI Concessions and The Walsh Group which will implement the East End Crossing, a highway connection across the Ohio River near Louisville, Kentucky.
